About the Academy
- Electronics and ICT Academy provides specialized training to the faculty of Engineering, Arts, Commerce & Science colleges, Polytechnics etc., by developing state-of-the-art facilities
- The Academy of our Institute will cover all higher learning institutes, industries pan India.
- It is envisaged that the Electronics and ICT Academy will become a central hub of activities on training, consultancy work and entrepreneurship programs
- It is envisaged to conduct faculty development programs in the niche areas such as 5G, IC design, IoT/sensors, AI ML, drones, robotics, AR VR, additive manufacturing, robotics, gaming, photonics, nano based devices, medical electronics, defense and strategic automotive electronics, cyber security etc.
- This project runs and hub-spoke mode . The spokes are selected based on the expression of interest following the MeitY guidelines
- It is also aimed at developing specialized modules for the state-of-the-art research areas connected to the ICT tools.

About the Institute
- National Institute of Technology (formerly Regional Engineering College), Warangal is the first among 17 RECs setup as joint venture of the Government of India and the state government.
